Job Description

The Senior JDEdwards CNC is responsible for technical administration of the JDE EnterpriseOne 8.10 server complex in an iSeries/Citrix environment. Also plays various roles in maintaining the health of Hyperion HFM, Cetova C-FAR and Prodagio servers.

Maintain the health and performance of E1 8.10 application servers, database servers and client machines (Wintel and Citrix MetaFrame).

Troubleshoot CNC issues and work with corporate infrastructure groups and Oracle Support as needed to reach resolution.

Responsible for normal maintenance and ongoing improvement of the JDE security model.

Will play an important role in upcoming upgrade from EnterpriseOne release 8.10 to 9.0. Will play a leading role in the ongoing improvement of the JDE backup server complex, including failover procedures, tests and documentation.

Communicate effort estimates and progress reports to management, attend appropriate training courses and follow company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)

4+ experience in CNC role for a recent JDE EnterpriseOne release

Strong working knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne server administration, Security Workbench and ESU/Tools Release installation

Strong and technical problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to deliver successful CNC projects on time and within budget

Working knowledge of Oracle Application Server 10g, Oracle HTTP Server and Web Cache, J2EE, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Analytic Services, IBM WebSphere, Prodagio/Documentum and LDAP a plus

Clear track record of working well in an IT team environment and with all levels of users and management
