Our Client’s office of the CIO seeks a Project Manager to work with the Portfolio Management Office in project management, process management, project lifecycle, SDLC and project delivery artifacts/templates. The Project Manager will perform other duties as necessary. We seek a motivated, hands-on team-player who can prioritize and manage time and projects effectively. This position is temporary and ends on 12/31/2010. This position does have the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

POSITION SCOPE: Project Manager to work with the Portfolio Management Office in project management, process management, project lifecycle, SDLC and project delivery artifacts/templates. The Project Manager will perform other duties as necessary. We seek a motivated, hands-on team-player who can prioritize and manage time and projects effectively.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 to 7 years of applied project management experience with an emphasis in IT project management
  • Proficient at utilizing artifacts/templates necessary in successful project management/delivery
  • analyze existing business artifacts/templates and ensure IT requirements will be met using a common repository of artifacts/templates
  • Take existing 1st iteration of Project Delivery process and refine into a 2nd iteration
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

4. EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
